Do you feel like it's time to revisit the basics of Spiritual Direction? Or perhaps you've taken a break from practice and are seeking a supportive, structured way to return? You’re not alone, and we’re here to help!

At LCSD, our Spiritual Direction Refresher Course is designed specifically for trained Spiritual Directors who want to rebuild confidence and revitalise their practice. Whether you’ve been away from Spiritual Direction for a while or simply need a refresher, this course will help you get back on track.

  • Dates: Tuesday evenings monthly from February - June

    Time: 3 hours each session - 18:00-21:00 (UK Time)

    Delivery: Live online via Zoom

    Capacity: To ensure quality interaction and feedback, the course is capped at 18 participants.

    Cost: £350 for the full six-month programme.

  • This course is highly experiential, and each session includes practice with observation and feedback from both tutors and peers, ensuring you can immediately apply what you’ve learned.

    Key topics covered will include:

    • Revisiting the basic tools and skills of Spiritual Direction

    • Current recommendations for best practice and ethical guidelines

    • Developing as a reflexive practitioner

    • Reviving your creativity in Spiritual Direction

    • Strategies for getting started again after a break

    • Space for your own questions, reflections, and concerns as you re-engage with your practice

  • This course is designed for experienced Spiritual Directors who feel like they need to brush up on the basics or if they haven't practiced in a while and they are looking to grow in confidence.

  • You will need to be a trained Spiritual Director.

    You’ll need a stable internet connection and a device capable of running Zoom. All course materials will be provided digitally via Google Drive, and you’ll receive details in advance of the course.
