Please note: This is a supplementary workshop and does not provide Level 1 Safeguarding certification. It is designed to complement your existing Safeguarding training by focusing on how Safeguarding principles specifically apply within the context of Spiritual Direction.
Attendees must have completed Safeguarding Training (at least Level 1) before attending this as it assumes that the basics have been completed elsewhere
Here are some ways you can find the necessary training:
If you are within the Church of England, you can access training here.
You can also access training from thirtyone:eight. They suggest that their webinar on Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Harm would be most appropriate for Spiritual Directors. Members of LCSD get a 10% disocunt.
Or you can book online training with HSQE here
