Streams in the Desert: Spiritual Direction as Prophetic Practice

This workshop will look at how we as spiritual Directors use prophetic imagination to inform our practice.

Inspired by the writings of theologian Walter Brueggeman, this will be a day to explore how prophetic imagination can provide life-giving streams in the wilderness of these challenging times. When chronic crisis might engender either apathy or mere management, the prophetic imagination calls us to honest lament, practices that honour the sacred, and vision rooted in God’s greater story.
