Restorative Practices: Healing Shame and Supporting Spiritual Direction

Shame is a key driver of conflict in our world. In this workshop, we delve into the theory of restorative practices and its profound impact on healing shame and conflicts. As spiritual directors, we often encounter individuals grappling with shame in their lives. Join us in exploring how restorative practices theory can enhance our understanding of shame, how people react to shame and provide valuable tools for supporting our directees. Through insightful discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, we'll learn to better understand what our directees are going through when they experience shame and explore ways we can support them.
