The Knowledge for Spiritual Directors: Mapping the Journey

London cab drivers pride themselves on 'The Knowledge', a thorough knowledge of the area within six miles of Charing Cross, its streets and all of its places of interest. But what is The Knowledge for spiritual directors? And, as we accompany others on their journey of faith, how can we learn The Knowledge well enough to be wise yet flexible guides?

Together, we'll examine how the Christian tradition offers maps that, like The Knowledge, we can internalise to help with making sense of where a directee is and where they might be going, as well as the multiple ways of getting there.Through thought-provoking discussions and practical exercises, we'll discover ways to notice and engage with the places of interest along the directees' paths, potentially transforming their entire journey. Join us as we deepen our understanding and become intentional guides on the sacred journey of faith.
