Network Day 2021: “Holding Liminal Space - Spiritual Direction: holding the space between worlds”

Event details

We are delighted to announce details of our Network Day for 2021! We shall be back in our familiar and much-loved venue of St Edmund’s - very fittingly, as 20 November is St Edmund’s feast day. He is the patron saint of, among other things, protection from plague and pandemics: you can read about his life here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_the_Martyr

We shall also be live-streaming the day, so that our members and friends outside London and anyone else who wishes to attend this way can join in fully with the whole event.

Our Director, Beki Rogers, will speak about “Holding Liminal Space - Spiritual Direction: holding the space between worlds.”

Exploring Liminal Space, which is the space between worlds; the threshold of lives and worlds. This season has itself been a Liminal Space – a period between what was and what will settle post-endemic. Beki will explore the concept and how it relates to the space we hold within Spiritual Direction.

The day will offer the usual mix of timely and stimulating input, news of the Centre, discussion, fellowship and worship. Those following the live-stream will have the opportunity to take part in discussion groups and plenary question time via Zoom. More details will be available when you book.
