Course Commitment
The course involves a commitment of 2 years. Although it is part time, it will
require you to read and reflect between sessions. We would like you to consider whether
you can sustain this in the light of your existing commitments. You will be asked:
- to attend 25 weekly evening sessions of 3 hours each: October – June
- to attend in January each year either a Saturday all day workshop or a weekend
residential
- to have been receiving regular spiritual direction yourself for at least one year
prior to the commencement of the course and to continue in it throughout the
course.
To protect the quality of our training, we have a requirement that no more than 2
sessions in a term are missed. If there is an absence of 3 or more, for whatever
reason, you will be asked to repeat the relevant term later, and to pay a £40
administration fee.
A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the course only if all
attendance requirements have been met, all fees paid and all library books
returned.
